Be sure to check out Mr. PC: Behind The Myth!
On Sunday, April 3, 2010 Mr. PC and I hosted an awesome barbecue, Common Chef style, for our closest friends and family at one of the most beautiful places in the world, an awesome little lakeside cabin, out in the Ocala National Forest. Not only were we having the time of our lives, spending time with our favorite people and eating awesome food, but we had the premier of Mr. PC: Behind The Myth! This is one cool piece of marketing genius. Mr. PC and PC House Productions put together this video to showcase all that they can do to bring their clientele into the digital age! With the help of many close friends, this video does just that, and gets to shamelessly plug The Common Chef, Culinary Combat, and all of our individual ventures and businesses. How can it get any better than creating a great marketing piece, with tons of comedic value, amongst a group of great friends?!
We viewed the video, and afterwards, PC and I cooked up a feast fit for a King!
Pork tenderloin 3 different ways:
1 with a marinade recipe of Mr. PC himself (sriracha, lime, soy, wasabi)
1 with a recipe of my mother’s, Letha Betty (Kikkoman teriyaki glaze, pickled jalapenos)
1 with my homemade garlic barbecue (SECRET) that was of course….WRAPPED IN APPLEWOOD BACON!!
We also made what PC calls boat chicken, a delicious simple treat of Everglades seasoning, lime and olive oil.
Then I made Bruschetta salad (tomato, basil, mozzarella, olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar) to go with it all.
On top of that our awesome friends and family all contributed with sides, deserts, drinks and of course some beer.
What a great day we had “Common Chefing” it up! This is just what we do!
Until next time…..enjoy good food, with good friends!
